Dear Colleagues,
It is with heavy hearts that we write to relay the news that Mr. Ira Wolf passed away at his home over the weekend. Ira served as PhRMA Japan Representative for ten years from January, 2006 and dedicated much of his professional life to strengthening US-Japan relations as well as to supporting the pharmaceutical industry which serves patients. He will be greatly missed by all of us.
We do not yet have any information on the funeral arrangements for Ira, or on whether his family will be accepting flowers, messages or the like. When we do receive such information, we will post it on the PhRMA Japan website so that those who would like to do something can do so.

当協会 前・日本代表のアイラ・ウルフ氏が1月15日（米国東部時間）、永眠いたしました。
ここに生前のご厚誼に深く感謝いたしますとともに謹んでご連絡申し上げます。
アイラ・ウルフ氏は、2006年1月から10年間にわたり、当協会の日本代表として、日米関係の強化に邁進し、患者さんのお役に立つ製薬業界の理想的な姿を模索し続け、その実現に向けて努力を続けて参りました。その功績は知る者すべてが賞賛を惜しまないものと確信しております。
