「マンスフィールド－PhRMA研究者プログラム」2022 参加者募集
（ワシントンD.C.）モーリーン・アンド・マイク・マンスフィールド財団は、第8回「マンスフィールド－PhRMA研究者プログラム」への参加者を募集します。本プログラムは、医薬品研究開発に携わる日本の若手研究者8名を毎年米国に派遣し、米国におけるトランスレーショナルリサーチを中心に保健医療政策について学ぶ機会を提供します。本プログラムは2013年初頭に発足し、米国研究製薬工業協会（PhRMA）の支援を受けて実施しています。
マンスフィールド財団では、日本の国公立機関、国公私立大学等の医療・医薬品関係の研究機関、付属機関、教育機関等に在籍する日本人の若手研究者8名を、第8期プログラム参加者として選抜します（民間企業の研究機関に所属されている方は除く）。応募者には、修士号（博士号またはそれと同等の経験を有すればなお良い）および、専門分野における数年間の職務経験を有することが求められます。
選抜された参加者は、本年9月中旬の3週間、ワシントンD.C.、フィラデルフィア、ボストンでの会合に参加し、関連する医療機関や施設訪問をします。帰国後は、この米国研修で実際に学んだ知見や経験を同僚と幅広く共有し、日本の研究開発政策の改善に寄与することが期待されます。応募書類ならびに本プログラムに関する詳しい情報は当財団のウェブサイト：（https://mansfieldfdn.org/jp/programs/mansfield-phrma-program/）をご参照下さい。応募締め切りは2022年5月13日(金)です。

2022 MANSFIELD-PHRMA RESEARCH SCHOLARS PROGRAM
(Washington, DC) The Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation is pleased to announce recruitment for the 2022 Mansfield-PhRMA Research Scholars Program. This unique program was launched in 2013 to bring young researchers from Japan’s pharmaceutical research and development field to the United States to learn about U.S. healthcare policy, with a focus on translational research. This will be the eighth group of researchers to participate in the program.
In the months ahead, the Mansfield Foundation will select eight Japanese researchers from Japanese national institutes and private university or university-affiliated institutions to participate in the 2022 program. Applicants should be recognized experts in their areas of focus with several years of professional experience as well as a graduate degree, preferably a PhD or its equivalent. The program is not open to employees of pharmaceutical firms.
Researchers selected for the program will travel to the United States for two weeks of meetings and site visits in mid-September 2022. During the exchange they will share information and best practices with senior experts in Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and Boston. When they return to Japan they will be expected to share what they learned with their Japanese colleagues, to put the experience to use in their work, and to contribute to Japan’s R&D policy reforms and medical innovation in a practical way.
